My puppy doesn’t love me
Y’all- I’m so sad. My border collie puppy doesn’t love me 😢 he’s 9 months and I’ve had him since he was 3 months old. Lately he doesn’t want me to touch him or cuddle. He’s super aloof. The only time it appears that he’s even remotely interested in me is when I’m playing tug with him. In the mornings, we take him out of his kennel and I try to have like a good morning cuddle sesh on his favorite beanbag and usually he stretches and loves being petted. I’m not sure if this is a phase that he’s going to grow out of or if he just doesn’t like me. We do training sessions every night. I try to be fun and exciting but he has no interest. In fact, he’ll usually walk away from me if I’m down on his level trying to call him. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. I try not to force him to cuddle or anything like that but if we went on his terms, I would never get affection at all haha I feel absolutely insane complaining that my dog doesn’t like me but I just want idk what to do. Help!
